    Doctor Ho Limited has two main missions: First, to support parents’ learning about well infant and child development; and second, to support learning of healthcare professionals in research and promote evidence-based clinical practice. These missions are achieved by providing convenient online courses.
  • 2. Who can use our service?
    To join our Courses for Parental Learners and/or receive our services, you must be 18 years of age or above, or of the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction, and possess the legal authority, rights and freedom to agree and enter into our Terms and Conditions, and Terms of Use as binding agreements, as well as our Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy. You must acknowledge, understand and agree that our courses for parental learners do not make any diagnosis, give personalised health/ medical advice or advise any treatment to individuals. Therefore, our courses for parental learners are not intended for use by parents or those who are seeking medical consultations, specific/ personalised medical advice or treatment for their children or any other children. You must acknowledge, understand and agree that if the course and published materials contain medical information or advice, the information or advice provided is as accurate and as comprehensive as possible, but that it is only general advice and should not be used as a substitute for the individual advice participants might receive from consulting their own doctor. You must acknowledge, understand and agree that all parts of the course or published materials are not intended to be used to aid, form or reach diagnoses, clinical decisions/ activities, clinical management or treatment plan to any specific individuals. If the course or published materials is being read by healthcare professionals and clinicians, it is up to them to use their own clinical judgement when interpreting such information and deciding how best to apply it to the consultation or treatment of patients.

    To use our service (e.g. as a course attendee, when booking our courses for parental learners, completing our contact form, making queries and providing feedback etc.), you may submit personal information, including name, email address (or other contact details), and payment details (processed through a third party payment service provider). We use your information to confirm and send details about your course booking. With your consent, we may contact you for marketing purposes (e.g. emails about new courses, changes in course fee etc.), and follow up for feedbacks where necessary etc. and you will have the options to opt out in the emails we send to them. We shall not disclose your personal information to any third parties without obtaining your prior consent unless we are required by law to do so.   • 5. How do you book a course for parental learners?
    You can click ‘Book Online’ and select an available course/module which you would like to book. Please note that we may or may not set time limits for early and late bookings. Before you book a course, you must acknowledge, understand and agree our Privacy Policy, Cookies Policy, Terms and Conditions, and Terms of Use for Parental Learners. You will get a confirmation email with a receipt once the payment for the course is successfully made, and we will send an online link and instructions of how you can join the course to the email address which you have provided us, please make sure the email you provide us is accurate.
  • 6. How are our courses for parental learners conducted?
    At present, all of our courses for parental learners are delivered live-streamed online and are conducted in English only. Please note that no play back for any part of our courses will be available after the course is delivered.
  • 7. Why there are limitations in the size of some classes for parental learners?
    Our courses for parental learners are conducted in a small group unless specified (i.e. maximum 10 pairs of parents normally). This is because we would like to allow learners/ participants to have more opportunities to ask questions and discuss when they would like to. Both parents are cordially invited to join our courses. We reserve the rights to close the course enrolment once the class has reached its maximum size.
  • 8. What are technical requirements before starting courses?
    Once your booking for a course is successful, you will be sent a link to join the course for the date you choose using a computer, tablet or mobile phone. Before you start the course, please make sure that you have a good Internet connection in a comfortable environment.
  • 9. Do the courses for parental learners involve any training?
    Our courses for parental learners do not involve any formal training/ education or assessment. Rather, these are informal but structured courses to support parents who would like to learn more about well infant and child development. In addition, our First Aid in Children course is not a certified course and does not involve any formal training to deliver professional paediatric first aid or resuscitation. You must acknowledge, understand and agree that our courses do not make any diagnoses, give personalised health advice or advise any treatment to individuals. Therefore, our courses for parental learners are not intended for use by parents or those who are seeking medical consultation, specific medical advice or treatment for their children or any other children.
  • 10. Can I watch the course again after the course is delivered?
    Since all of our online courses for parental learners are delivered live-streamed and are not recorded, please note that no play back for any part of our courses will be available after the course is delivered.
  • 11. What does the course fee include?
    Since all of our online courses for parental learners are delivered live-streamed, the course fee for each course includes the one-time live-streamed course only. No other services are included in the course fee. At Doctor Ho Limited, we would be happy to consider offering discounts in our courses for parental learners for parents or carers who have financial difficulties and are interested in joining our courses.   • 12. What are the payment methods?
    Payment can be made online during course booking, which is directly managed and processed by Wix Payments. Wix Payments is responsible for collecting and processing all our customers’ payment and payment-related data. By proceeding to the payment page, you affirm that you have fully acknowledged, read, understood, and agreed with our Privacy Policy, Cookies Policy, Terms and Conditions, and Terms of Use.   • 13. What to do if you book a course by error?
    Please ensure that you check and correct any input errors before confirming your booking for a course, or making any payment. If you book our courses by error, it is your responsibility to inform us by writing an email or using our online contact form at the earliest possible time to get a refund. We reserve the rights to deduct any administration cost, currency exchange fees, transaction fees, and any third parties fees where appropriate and applicable. If you fail to inform us within 48 hours after you have booked a course by error, we will not be able to refund you. Refunds will be made only to the person who made the original booking.
  • 14. Can you cancel or reschedule a course for parental learners which you signed up?
    You can cancel or reschedule your course by writing to us by email or using our online contact form at least 28 calendar days before your course starts. If you have booked a course which is due to start in less than 28 calendar days, we will not be able to refund or reschedule the course if you change your mind. Rescheduling a course for parental learners is subjected to availability. You will not be able to cancel the course or get any refund once you have joined or attended any part of the course.   • 15. Would you get a course certificate from us?
    Since our courses for parental learners aim to support your general learning about well infant and child development, they are neither accredited training courses nor formal education; therefore, we do not issue course certificates. However, we can email you a course attendance record which outlines the course and date you have attended if you would like to request for one.
  • 16. Can an employer book a course for their employees?
    An employer must seek an informed consent from their employees if they would like to book a course for them. Please note that our classes for courses for parental learners are limited in size, therefore please plan and book a course in advances.
  • 17. What is zero tolerance campaign?
    We support the zero tolerance campaign, and do not tolerate any abusive and aggressive behaviour, attitude or languages towards our staff or other course participants. In such events, we reserve the rights to remove any participants from our courses and service immediately.
  • 18. How do you provide feedback or make a complaint to our service?
    We welcome your feedback about any aspect of our service because it helps to improve our service. If you are not satisfied with any part of our service, we are here to help and would like to resolve the matters as soon as possible. You can share your feedback with us or make a complaint by writing an email or using our online contact form.
