Service Description

This course aims to provide useful information about first aid in children (older than 3 months of age) to parents/ learners in a relaxing session. Available online or in-person where possible (currently restricted to London tube zone 1 to 3 areas). Topics include: 1. Safety approach and initial assessment 2. CPR 3. Choking children 4. Febrile convulsion (or febrile seizure) 5. The recovery position By the end of this course, learners should be more familiar: 1. How to approach and assess an injured child. 2. How CPR is performed in children. 3. How to respond to a choking child. 4. How to respond to a child with febrile convulsion. 5. How to place a child in the recovery position. Course duration: 2 hours. Course fee: £65/ person (min. 2 people, max. 10 people per booking) Please note that this course is booked privately. Please contact us and discuss a suitable date and time.
